Job Description:
Job Description: The Clinical Supervisor collaboratively
participates in daily departmental planning, decision making and
developing nursing staff. As part of nursing leadership, supports
the strategies, mission, vision and values of John Muir Health;
assumes clinical leadership for the department; interprets and
translates the theory of the care model into daily nursing
practice; and uses information systems and resources effectively to
achieve quality outcomes. The Clinical Supervisor advocates for
staff and facilitates processes for the department; advocates for
effective safe quality care for patients on the unit; and promotes
the values and tenets of shared decision making working
collaboratively with the unit council. Education: Bachelor's Degree
Accredited School of Nursing - Required Master's Degree Accredited
School of Nursing - Preferred Experience: 3 years of Healthcare -
Medical Acute Care Nursing - Required 1 year of Nursing - Charge
Nurse or Team Leader - Required 1 year of Nursing - Specialty Care
- Cardiac Conditioning or Cardiology - Required 1 year of Nursing -
Progressive Leadership Experience - Preferred
Certifications/Licensure RN Registered Nursing - California Board
of Nursing - Required BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart
Association - Required Specialty Certifications - ANCC American
Nurses Credentialing Center - Required within 2 years of hire and
Must be included in the list of allowed certifications by ANCC for
Magnet demographics Skills: Expertise in cardiac nursing as
evidenced by interview and assessment quiz Knowledge/experience
with AACVPR Certification Strong written and verbal communication
skills required Work Shift: 08.0 - 07:00 - 16:00 No Waive (United
States of America) Pay Range: $93.29 - $125.68 Hourly Offer amounts
are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure. Pay
will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay
Area . Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for
overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for
compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain
the word 'exempt' on it. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 32
