About Concord:

Our Concord location just opened a brand-new state of the art facility in the summer of 2022! It is the largest Specialty and Emergency Hospital in the East Bay area. Our next generation facility has allowed SAGE Concord to significantly expand its Emergency, Specialty, and Urgent Care services to the growing East Bay community. Our Specialty offerings consist of Critical Care, Cardiology, Integrative Medicine, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Surgery. This new facility features multiple advanced Surgery suites, as well as sophisticated Trauma response and Critical Care capabilities. Our vision in Concord is to continue expansion of SAGE's existing services to meet the ongoing demand for additional services in our community.

CSC:

You are the first face a client and patient sees upon arrival to the hospital. You have the ability to remain calm in stressful and sometimes emotional situations while confidently interacting with clients in person and on the phone. You thrive in a fast paced environment in which you balance and prioritize multiple tasks at a time such as data entry, requesting records, managing a multi-line phone system, processing payments, scheduling appointments, relaying information between clients and medical team, and other administrative duties as needed.

Basically, you are a main go to person for our clients, a friendly face to help them feel comfortable during their time of need and you balance that with being a strong administrative support for our medical teams in various departments!

Some of the responsibilities you may own in this role:

• Greeting clients and being the first face of SAGE Centers
• Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and preparing our clients for their visit
• Helping coordinate workflow between clients and the clinical team
• Compiling veterinary medical charts
• Entering client and patient data into our hospital information system
• Collecting payments and other administrative duties Basic required qualifications:
  • High school diploma
  • 1+ years of customer service experience - veterinary hospital experience strongly preferred
  • 1+ years of hospitality experience (e.g., creating a friendly and receptive environment for clients)
  • Competent computer skills including reliable and consistent ability to enter data into medical records
  • Effective working knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Type 45+ wpm and use 10-key calculator Work Schedule:

        Pay range $18-30 an hour.
        • The base hourly range for this position is $18-30. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
