The Diet Technician, Registered (DTR) is responsible for assisting patients by addressing their preferences and correcting menus and assisting the Clinical Dietitian in updating the EHR with data and nutritional screens and providing diet education.

Experience:

• 1 year Food Services - DTR (Dietetic Technician Registered) or
• 1 year Diet Office Experience preferred Certifications/Licensures:
  • DTR - Dietetic Technician Registered Required Skills:
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work on and lead teams
    • A thorough knowledge of normal and therapeutic nutrition and the ability to counsel patients
    • Knowledge of medical records and medical terminology
      
      Work Shift:
      
      08.0 - Per Diem Days (United States of America)
      
      Pay Range:
      
      $35.16 - $47.47 Hourly
      Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
      
      Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.
