Job Description:

Rice Lake Weighing Systems is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in Concord, CA. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk performs a variety of duties including unloading incoming shipments, logging shipments and receivables into the database, issuing (tracking) test number and deliver to appropriate work centers, updates M2K system, create sales/work orders, and moving of items between work locations. Ensures that all incoming artifacts are correctly counted, entered, and transferred to the appropriate areas in a timely and efficient manner. Must work as part of a team; ability to work flexible hours as needed. Job Functions include: Unloads incoming freight. Delivers freight to holding area in the receiving designated area. Must have basic computer data entering skills. Reviews incoming paperwork with detailed information for work to be performed. Troubleshoot sales orders which have order entry mistakes, inventory, discrepancies and electronic processing problems. Must be detailed oriented and ability to read, understand, and decipher POs and customer requests. Performs daily shipping. Ensures that performed cycle counts are correct. Computes freight quotes. Restocking of returns. If not properly packaged, package and unplanned move part to final stock locations. Perform local and area pick-up and delivery of purchased parts, materials, and customer artifacts as requested by Purchasing and approved by the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator. Maintain clean and orderly work areas on a daily basis. Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license.
