Our commitment to excellence has earned us an industry-wide reputation for being one of the top Roofing, Solar, and HVAC companies in California.SummaryThe Electrical Apprentice is paired with an experienced Solar Electrician and assists with performing residential main service panel upgrades and solar battery installations. The ideal candidate will be motivated, dedicated, and a team player with a strong interest in building a career in the solar electrical field. In addition, the ideal candidate will have high attention to detail and a genuine care to his/her work craft.Responsibilities* Assist with panel and battery upgrades* Running Run conduit, pulling pull wires, and terminating terminate circuits* Bending Bend pipes, mounting mount equipment and hardware to walls and mounting hardware to wallss, * Take inventory of parts needed at the job site* Prepare workspace and load and unload materials from the vehicle* Sort through and gather parts, materials, and tools for jobs each day* Navigate and drive to various residential job sites within specified windows of time* Enter notes into CRM (Salesforce) and upload photos of completed work to shared cloud storage (Box)* Provide superior customer service to homeowners* Maintain a clean and presentable working environmentQualifications* A minimum of 2 years of' experience working with hand and power tools* A minimum of 1 years' of experience doing electrical work and or working in construction * Experience assisting electricians conduct panel upgrades or installing batteries * Must have general AC and NEC code knowledge* Knowledge of general residential electrical* Must be able to maintain a high level of quality assurance with an emphasis on safety* Must possess a valid California Driver's License and have a minimum of 2 years of experience driving for a company* Must meet strict internal company guidelines to obtain driving clearance * Organizational skills a plus!Physical Requirements* Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly* Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and work from heights and in confined spaces* Must be able to work on feet for extended period of time* Ability to work in diverse weather conditionsBenefits* Competitive hourly rates!* Excellent benefits package includes: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Voluntary Life & AD&D insurance, H.S.A, Employee Assistance Program* Paid sick and vacation time* Opportunity to grow with the company!Semper Solaris is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
