Job Description:

STAT MED is looking for 2-3 Full-time and/or part-time limited x-ray technician with preferred Medical Assistant training, outstanding people skills, the ability to think quickly on your feet, not afraid to work hard and independent of others. Experience is preferred. Must be facile on the computer and familiar with Electronic medical records. We have 4 locations in the East Bay (Lafayette, Concord, Livermore and Brentwood), you may be asked to work at any one of the locations mentioned. Must have a valid California Radiology license. Responsibilities and Duties REQUIREMENTS: - California Radiology License (current) - Experience is preferred but not required - Medical assisting certification is preferred TASKS and RESPONSIBILITIES: Report to work on time and be willing to work some evenings, weekends and Holidays. Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent x-rays. Enter patient demographics in computer workstation as well as EMR system, scan films, and transmit them to the reading center. Perform MA duties when X-Ray service is not required but a plus Observe all patient rights' and confidentiality Treat customers and patients with respect, dignity, and confidentiality Qualifications and Skills COMPENSATION: Employee will receive a competitive hourly rate based on experience.
