Job Description:
A company is looking for a Pediatrics, Outpatient Coder.
Key Responsibilities:
Review documentation to identify billable procedures and services
and ensure accurate coding and charging
Perform ICD-10-CM diagnostic, CPT, and HCPCS procedural coding
Consult with physicians and clinical department representatives to
address coding and documentation issues
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
AHIMA or AAPC coding certification
2 years' experience as a certified coder with specialized
experience in Outpatient Coding
Experience with EHR systems and electronic encoder software
Understanding of charging and revenue integrity
