Job Description: The Job/What You'll Do: The Head of Quality Assurance is a key member of the Information Technology leadership team with specific accountability for ensuring that testing in support of all assigned initiatives is completed with a high level of diligence, fidelity, and adherence to 'best in industry' standards and methods. Responsibilities: Develop Strategic design and implementation approach for QA Strategy that effectively builds scale and leverages industry best practices Conduct in-depth analysis, and communicate effectively on vision, ideas, and solutions while obtain senior leadership alignment Oversee all tactical aspects of the QA lifecycle (resource and expense management, process refinement, troubleshooting, implementation of tools, and test planning/execution), escalating relevant issues with clarity, and in a timely fashion Mature the QA function with effective regression, load and performance test capability, driven by auditable metrics Develop strong partnerships across IT and broader organization, establish credibility as an AssetMark Leader Develop high performing team, focused on timely delivery and creative solutions Manage offshore resources, ensuring vendor alignment with AssetMark's strategic goals and interests Bring testing philosophy and approach to take QA to 'next level' of delivery, with a particular emphasis on performance testing, automation, and data validation Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proven Leadership Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to effectively engage team members at various organizational levels Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment while remaining calm under pressure, and responsiveness to key stakeholders and senior leaders Strong understanding in fundamentals , HTML, SQL, IBM BPM, and MS Access a plus Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related Minimum 10 years of software quality assurance leadership, in addition to hands-on analysis and testing experience Minimum 5 years QA team management Experience with Selenium (or another automation tool) a plus Hands on experience with Agile testing methodologies and standards Exposure to transformation process from waterfall to Agile Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $110,000-$135,000. This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
