Job Description:
The Contra Costa Adult Continuum of Services (CCACS) is a
program of Contra Costa Health Services Health, Housing and
Homeless Services Division, in partnership with Heluna Health. Our
mission is to provide safe, interim housing with comprehensive
services that assist homeless adults in securing permanent housing
that will end their homelessness. We respect human dignity and

If hired for this position, applicant will be required to provide
proof of full vaccination for COVID-19 prior to the start date.
Salary: $21.88 - $25.32, hourly
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Answer shelter phone lines, communicate directly with callers, and
provide a high level of customer service to both people
experiencing homeless and community stakeholders.
Provide information about shelter bed availability to CORE, VA, GA,
AB109 Probation, other Health Services Departments and alert
shelter staff of incoming placements.
Run persons seeking shelter placement through the Megan's Law
database.
Manage the shelter bed reservation system in the Homeless
Management Information System (HMIS).
Collaborate with team members, including the HMIS Agency
Administrator and program management team to support movement or
completion of activities and projects.
Enter data into the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS)
and other various data management systems as assigned.
Run and reconcile reports to ensure system data quality and
timeliness.
Perform weekly audits and quality assurance of all shelter data to
identify gaps and other missing information in HMIS.
Alert shelter staff when intakes and other information are missing
from the system.
Ensure all HMIS documents are properly stored and secure.
Daily completion of the Capacity Sheet, Population Sheet, and Bed
list for CCACS Shelters.
Daily AB109 Probation, GA, VA, and all other contractual reporting
requirements.
Attend all mandatory meetings and trainings as required.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Be able to type 40 words per minute.
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications and
use of the internet.
Be fingerprinted and pass a criminal background check.
Preferred lived experience of homelessness, from a diverse or
minority population, bilingual capabilities, and/or accessing
behavioral health services.
Education/Experience
High school diploma/GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred, or
60 semester college units or AA degree.
3 years experience working with computers and/or in an
administrative capacity.
1 year work experience working with vulnerable or special needs
populations.
