Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest
providers of community-based behavioral health services in New
Hampshire, is seeking a full-time Director of Accounts Receivable
in our Concord location. The position reports to the CFO.
As the Director of Accounts Receivable, you will be responsible
for the management and successful operation of the back-end revenue
cycle for the organization. This position oversees a large team of
Accounts Receivable Specialists who work to maintain a reasonable
A/R balance for NH Medicaid, Medicaid Spenddown (In and Out
Program) and payments based on a Managed Care Capitation model. The
Director will provide support and leadership to a team that strives
to develop successful relationships with insurance payers, DHHS and
Riverbend program staff which ensures services are processed and
paid in a timely manner.
The successful Director will have expertise in accounts
receivable, financial management, general accounting and audit

accurately posted to client accounts, timely follow-up with
insurance companies and program staff.
Oversee billing processes each week for various funding
Assist in month-end close for revenue cycle.
Oversee recruitment of, and training for new and existing staff
members as needed, as well as maintaining relationships within the

for proper billing.
Create and maintain accurate and updated department processes
and training materials.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree
Minimum of 3 years’ experience overseeing an accounts receivable
department for a health care practice or community mental health
center preferred; A/R experience in behavioral health is also
Relevant experience in medical or behavioral health-related
agency is required.
Familiarity with Medicaid including but not limited to insurance
policies, plans, coordination of benefits and benefit limitations

levels for maximum air circulation and quality per CDC guidelines,
and each location is fully sanitized daily.
