We provide a competitive advantage for the company through excellence in fundamentals, integrated partnerships, and our talented and engaged team members.We seek a .Net/Java Technology Lead will be a team member of Public Affairs & Customer Excellence (PACE) development team and will provide technology support to, and work in partnership with, our business team. This lead will deliver and support solutions using full stack .Net and Java based technologies. This team member responsibilities will include the following:

  • Acts in a lead technical role providing technical guidance and consultation with application teams, clients, and Engineering
  • Managers for their technology domain environments including but not limited to cloud, middleware, operating systems, applications, Software-as-a-Service, and Platform-as-a-Service products.
  • Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices.
  • Provides the strategy and design for projects associated with their technology domain including, upgrades and deployments.
  • Utilizes advanced technologies and methods to integrate their technology domain with other technology domains, enabling the creation of new or expanded heterogeneous environments.
  • Develops new documentation and departmental technical procedures.
  • Directs the gathering of performance statistics to assist in determining hardware and communication tools needed to support projected transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets.
  • As an escalation point, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of highly complex technical problems.
  • Leads projects and manages the work of less experienced staff.
  • Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domain.

To be successful in this role, the selected candidate must have excellent communication, collaboration to engage in frequent interactions with business stakeholders, senior management, project managers, technology managers, technology relationship managers, architecture teams, information security and the infrastructure support organization.Required Qualifications
    • 5+ years of software engineering experience
    • 6 + years of .Net and Java application development experience or a combination of both
    • 3+ years of experience in front end application development, operations and automation using React, Redux, AngularJS and Node
    • 3+ years of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Servicer Reporting Services (SSRS) experience, or a combination of bothDesired Qualifications
      • An industry-standard technology certification
      • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
      • A BS/BA degree or higher
      • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
      • Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCMCSD, MCAD)
      • 6 + years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
      • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
      • Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
      • Experience securing IaaS/PaaS private cloud or DevOps environments
      • Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment
      • Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as VersionOne and Team Foundation Server (TFS)
      • 3+ years of JIRA experience
      • 1 + years of Confluence WikiD experience
      • Knowledge and understanding of Cloud computing, PaaS design principles and micro services and containersJob Expectations
        • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
