Job Description:
Job Title: Locum - Physician - Radiology - Interventional Join
our dedicated team at a well-regarded general acute care hospital
located in the scenic city of Grass Valley, California. Our
facility, known for its commitment to providing high-quality
healthcare, is seeking an experienced Radiologist to cover both
inpatient and outpatient imaging needs, ensuring the best care for
our patients. Job Responsibilities: Provide hospital coverage for
Radiology services, including interventional radiology needs.
Perform a variety of procedures such as lumbar punctures, barium
studies, and other centesis exams. Conduct stroke CTs and other
acute care imaging studies. Oversee procedures in our outpatient
building, including contrasted CTs and MRIs. Support staff includes
Diagnostic Imaging Nurses and Technicians, with a large Radiology
group for overflow and after-hours reads. Responsible for
interpreting approximately 50 studies and performing 4-6 procedures
daily. Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in
Radiology - Required Valid California State License - Required
Completion of an accredited Residency/Fellowship - Required Current
BLS and DEA certifications during credentialing - Required CA
Fluoroscopy certification at submission - Required Clean
malpractice history - Preferred Availability at the time of name
clear - Required Self-Query NPDB report, dated within the last 30
days - Required License and Certification Requirements: Physician
must hold a valid California State License. A current BLS
certification is mandatory. DEA certification is also required
during the credentialing process. CA Fluoroscopy certification is
needed at the time of submission. Grass Valley offers an enchanting
