Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) – Neurology Up to $48/hr $5,000 Sign?On Bonus | No Weekends Are you an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician with a passion for neurology, anesthesia, and advanced patient care? SAGE Concord is hiring a skilled Neurology RVT to join our specialty team supporting neurosurgery, advanced imaging, and high?risk anesthesia cases in a collaborative specialty hospital environment. This role is ideal for an experienced RVT who thrives in high?acuity, fast?paced specialty medicine and is confident managing complex neurologic and anesthesia cases. Key Responsibilities - Administer and monitor general anesthesia for neurosurgery and advanced diagnostics - Support MRI, CT, spinal taps, and anesthetized procedures - Perform pre? and post?operative assessments and patient recovery - Assist neurologists during neurologic exams and case workups - Calculate and administer medications, CRIs, and IV fluid therapy - Place and maintain IV, urinary, and feeding catheters - Monitor vitals, pain scores, and neurologic function - Support seizure patients, emergency triage, and stabilization - Provide rehabilitation and mobility support for neurologic patients - Deliver clear, compassionate client education - Maintain accurate electronic medical records Qualifications - Active California RVT license (required) - 3 years of veterinary technician experience (specialty, ER, ICU, or anesthesia preferred) - Strong background in anesthesia monitoring and high?risk patients - Confident in drug calculations, patient monitoring, and multitasking - Team?oriented, professional communicator with a passion for specialty care Benefits & Growth - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance - 401(k) retirement plan - Paid vacation and sick time - Uniforms provided - Competitive RVT CE allowance and paid CE time - VetBloom access and monthly in?house RACE?approved CE - Wellness resources including League app and on?site Veterinary Social Worker - Advancement opportunities across specialty and leadership roles Ready to grow your career as a Neurology RVT?
