Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based
occupational therapy position is available to provide specialized
support to elementary students in Hayward, CA. This contract
opportunity covers paternity leave for March and April, with
flexibility for full-time or part-time candidates. The role
involves delivering occupational therapy services designed to
enhance students functional abilities and support their educational
success. Responsibilities include: Evaluating students occupational
therapy needs and developing individualized treatment plans
Collaborating with educators and families to integrate therapy
goals within the classroom Providing direct therapeutic
interventions to a caseload of approximately 35 students
Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in
compliance with school policies Participating in team meetings and
contributing to multidisciplinary student support efforts
Qualifications/Desired Experience: Current certification and
licensure as an Occupational Therapist Experience working in school
settings, preferably with elementary-aged children Strong
understanding of pediatric occupational therapy practices and
educational accommodations Ability to manage a caseload effectively
and maintain detailed records Excellent communication and teamwork
skills Position Details: Location: Hayward, CA Work Schedule: 8
hours per day, 5 days per week (40 hours/week) Contract Duration:
Paternity leave coverage for March and April Caseload:
Approximately 35 students This opportunity offers a chance to
