Job Description:
Job Description The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for
assisting compounding personnel in fulfilling stock medications,
filling supplies and assisting were a helping hand is needed in the
nonsterile compounding laboratory at SaveWay Compounding Pharmacy
(SWCP). Duties: Lab assistants will assist with compounding
activities and duties while under the direct supervision of the
compounding pharmacist or technician. (I.E. pushing out already
compounding medication into its final packaging) Fulfill stock
prescriptions in the queue. Restock supplies used throughout the
work shift. Add chemicals or other supplies to be re-ordered in the
ordering tab on TEAMS. Putting used API’s away in their appropriate
location. Maintain a safe work environment and exhibit safe work
practices. Perform other related duties as required. Must have
flexibility to work outside normal work hours, as required. Embody

Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Other
Requirements: Strong organizational skills Excellent oral and
written communication skills Professional appearance Mobility
within the entire facility Able to prove US employment eligibility
Able to pass drug screening Able to pass background screening
Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required SaveWay
