It is the largest Specialty and Emergency Hospital in the East Bay area. Our next-generation facility has allowed SAGE Concord to significantly expand its Emergency, Specialty, and Urgent Care services to the growing East Bay community.Our Specialty offerings consist of Emergency, Critical Care, Cardiology, Integrative Medicine, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Surgery. This new facility features multiple advanced Surgery suites, as well as sophisticated Trauma response and Critical Care capabilities. Our vision in SAGE Concord is to continue the expansion of SAGE's existing services to meet the ongoing demand for additional services in our community.--We are on the hunt for an experienced RVT or VA to join our emergency team!--About the role:You will play a crucial role in partnering with our ER Doctors, providing top-notch customer experiences, and delivering outstanding patient care.--Your day-to-day tasks will involve:--Triaging incoming patients and managing clients throughout their visit--Partner with DVM's in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures--Obtaining and processing laboratory samples such as blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates--Utilize different modalities of imaging for patient assessment--Executing, monitoring, and recovering all assigned sedation and anesthetic events--Compensation rate: $25 - $40/hr plus $3 swing shift differential.Sign-On bonus of $2,500 for new full-time employees!Swing shift Wed-Sat 3pm-1am--About You:--You are an individual with a positive attitude, a team player that genuinely loves people and their pets and wants to make an exceptional difference in the lives of patients and their families.--You can adapt to the individual needs of each patient and are looking for a friendly, fun, compassionate team environment and place a high value on continuing to enhance your knowledge and skill set.--You enjoy interacting and building relationships with clients, understand the importance of clear & effective communication, and are committed to outstanding client service and exceptional patient care.--You have a strong foundational understanding and can perform the basic responsibilities of a veterinary technician including (but not limited to): venipuncture, placing IV catheters,--drug calculations, administration of medications (IV or other methods),--Taking Vitals, and gathering medical history----Basic Required Qualifications:High school diploma---------------------At least 2+ years of clinical experienceStrong interpersonal skillsConsistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices and estimates, and other position-related calculationsHigh level of venipuncture skills, math calculations, and patient handlingWork Schedule:Full-Time4/10 ScheduleBenefits:Highly competitive and comparable wages based on experience and skill set.Competitive Vet Assistant and RVT CE allowance annuallyLicense application and renewal reimbursement for RVT'sFinancial support and onsite mentorship toward pursuit of VTSHealth and wellness programs--Opportunities for growth and advancement--Full-time benefits include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurances, flex-spending accounts, 401(k), Employee Assistance Program, 3 weeks accrued paid time off, and uniformsEthos Veterinary Health is at the forefront of innovation and world-class medicine.
