COMPANY PROFILE:
This privately-owned organization employs more than 50 physicians across multiple specialties, along with a dedicated team of advanced practitioners, administrators, and clinical support staff. Their teams serve patients suffering from injuries, providing compassionate, high-quality care in convenient, comfortable settings.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new physician will see patients in an established office in Oakland. There is also an option for the physician to see patients in their own office, should they have an established practice where they are seeking to add volume.

The practice is multi-speciality and their full services include:

- neurology
- PM&R
- orthopedic surgery
- spine surgery
- general orthopedics
- neuropsychology
- psychiatry

The exact details of the job description for the neurologist will be collaboratively decided between the practice and the physician.

Neurologists see an average of 20 to 25 patients per day, depending on types of appointments scheduled (this number could be lower, based on patient need and physician preference). Typically, new patient visits are scheduled for 30 to 60 minutes and established patient follow-ups are 15 to 20 minutes.

The practice operates its own outpatient clinics, imaging centers, and ambulatory surgery centers. In all settings, physicians are fully supported by dedicated clinical assistants and administrative staff.

The practice uses the Ambula Health EHR.

REQUIREMENTS:
- California medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible, Neurology
- no experience required
