Job Description:Provides skilled nursing care and instruction for newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric home bound patients under physician orders and in accordance with established LVN nursing standards, practices, and agency policies/ procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Cross-train for and flex into patient-related tasks in the office as needed to maximize staffing.Education:

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse Program - RequiredExperience:
  • 1 year Healthcare - Acute Care - Preferred
  • Healthcare - Home Care - Preferred
  • Healthcare - Community Health - PreferredCertifications/Licensures:
    • LVN Licensed Vocational Nurse - California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians - Required
    • California Driver's License - Proof of Good Driving Record and current Car Insurance - Required
    • BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - RequiredSkills:
      • Knowledge of nursing care within the scope of LVN license and ability to adapt to a variety of home care situations.
      • Ability and willingness to accept direction and work with administration.Work Shift:08.0 - 08:00 - 16:30 No Waive (United States of America)Pay Range:$32.60 - $45.63HourlyOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
