Description

Primary Care office is seeking a California Licensed Physicians Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, located in in outpatient setting in Concord & Walnut Creek. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will work in collaboration with a physician, as well as their own scheduled clinics.

The patient population will be focused all ages. Office-based care will include evaluation and management of patients with medical problems.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage patients' chronic medical conditions such as: hypertension, diabetes, urgent care needs ranging from URI (Upper respiratory tract infection to urinary tract infections), etc.
• Conduct initial interview with patients and elicit a detailed and accurate history.
• Assist with or perform independently minor procedures and perform other procedures as care dictates.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

  Mandatory Qualifications
  
  • Clinical Master's Degree - Physicians Assistant (PA)
    or
    
    • Clinical Master's Degree in Nursing (NP)
      Preferred Qualifications
      
      • National Board Certification or Recertification eligible
      • Current BLS/ACLS licensure
      • Prefer 3+ years work experience in Primary Care

        Pay Scale/Ranges:
        
        $62.50-90.87/hour - Nurse Practitioner (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*
        
        $80-136.25/hour - Physician Assistant (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*
        
        *Employees actual pay rate will depend on a host of factors including, without limitation, job location, specialty, skillset, education, and experience. The pay scale/ranges shown are representative of the pay rates for the job title reflected above, but an employees actual pay rate will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

        $70-80/hour depending on experience
