Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief People Officer, will partner with senior leadership to develop aPriori's talent strategy and lead all people related functions at aPriori. This includes talent acquisition, learning & development, talent management, total rewards, and compliance. The ideal candidate is an innovative, agile, collaborative forward thinker and solutions oriented professional with experience building and scaling the human resources function and managing change within a growing and evolving technology company.

  • Define a vision and strategic roadmap for our global people function that will scale with the business and foster a strong employee-oriented culture.
  • Lead the HR team and guide them in the development and execution of strategic, effective HR programs
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and managers - understanding company and functional goals. Proactively identify and advise on areas for improvement regarding talent, process, organizational design and company culture
  • Implement performance management, recognition, and engagement solutions
  • Create talent development programs to grow and develop staff and enhance the overall employee experience
  • Evaluate compensation, benefits, and incentive programs to ensure they are competitive and equitable. Design variable compensation plans to strategically align with the business objectives, motivate employees and reward exceptional performance
  • Make aPriori an employer of choice by leveraging exceptional culture and employee experience
  • Oversee the direction of the global talent acquisition strategy with a continued focus on diversity and inclusion
  • Oversee the cross-functional onboarding processes to ensure new hire success
  • Maintain human resources policies that comply with legal requirements, are consistent with market trends, and support the forward momentum of the business
  • Implement process and technology initiatives to support growth and scale. Leverage data and analytics to monitor and report on key HR metrics

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • 10+ years progressive HR experience including hands-on experience in talent acquisition, talent management, and compensation
    • 3+ years in HR leadership in a growing technology company
    • Track record of establishing and implementing HR programs and processes to support a growing technology company
    • Software industry experience ideally in on-prem and SaaS environments
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships at all levels of the organization
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Thorough understanding of HR practices, compliance, and employment law
    • Experience working and partnering with a distributed global workforce and with varied cultures and practices

      Location & Travel:
      aPriori is currently operating in a hybrid work environment. Ideally the Chief People Officer will work from our headquarters in Concord, MA a minimum of two days per week. Occasional travel to international office locations may be required.
