Pfizer Senior Director, Sterile Injectable & Biotech Procurement
Lead in Concord , New Hampshire Sourcing & Enterprise Services

product or service.The Sterile Injectables and Biotech Operations
(SBO) Procurement Leader provides leadership to the assigned Pfizer
Global Supply (PGS) sites within network to support the
manufacturing operations. The role is also responsible for
establishing the appropriate organizational design to address
business needs, developing colleagues to successfully deliver the
team's commitments, while operating within defined budget
parameters. The SBO Procurement Leader develops strong working
relationships with the key senior PGS stakeholders to support the
development and execution of strategies. They manage all critical
stakeholder engagements and are accountable to a member of the SBO
leadership team.The SBO Procurement Leader partners
cross-functionally to ensure novel and reliable supply chains are
in-place for current and future business requirements.ROLE
RESPONSIBILITIESFor assigned sites and categories, key tasks
include, but are not limited to:Assure good practice category
management, strategic sourcing, and supplier management processes
are executed timely and effectivelyAnnually, establish a plan of
action to achieve agreed to savings results and effectively
coordinate and collaborate with all S&ES teams as applicable to
leverage synergiesDevelop appropriate risk management strategies to
assure supply of Pfizer's requirements; in alignment with the PGS
Fundamental Value PropositionLead and/or participate on project
teams as required or assignedSupply Assurance: Lead engagement with
critical Pfizer suppliers to resolve impediments to timely supply
and enable achievement of PGS production targetsForm, lead and
facilitate cross-functional teams as applicable to execute the
procurement process and plans; enable supplier selection and
decision process; lead / facilitate contract development,
negotiation and execution processSupport escalated supplier
performance issues in collaboration with the applicable procurement
Category Strategy Manager (CSM) and key stakeholdersEnsure the
formal Supplier Management process and tools are in operation for
identified key suppliers in accordance with program
guidelinesMember of the SBO Leadership teamSupport Senior Leaders
in SBO in the resolution of any procurement related
issuesEffectively network with senior business leaders to build
Procurement's profile and engagement on key sourcing
strategiesEnsure SBO procurement operations are executing work in
accordance with all relevant Pfizer policy and proceduresProvide
coaching and development for team members through structured
process and tools including individual development plans and talent
developmentSkills:Excellent leadership, communication, and
interpersonal interaction skillsComplex Project Management of major
projects both on a local and regional and basisManagement skills in
assessing and effectively resolving business issuesAnalytical and
negotiation skills and techniquesREQUIRED BASIC
QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in business or a
technical discipline15+ years relevant experience, preferably in
both strategic and operational rolesFluency in EnglishKnowledge of
procurement systems, processes and proceduresPREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONSAdvanced degree in a relevant disciplineExpertise in
both strategic and operational rolesCandidate demonstrates a
breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities
including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers,
develop, and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other
colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business

Work Location Assignment:must be able to work from assigned Pfizer
office, 2-3 days per week, or as needed by the businessOther job

for this position ranges from $219,600.00 to $351,700.00. In
addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of
25.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our
share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a
retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days,
paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to
include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in
accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
Salary range does not apply to the Tampa, FL location.Relocation
assistance may be available based on business needs and/or
