Our Solar Construction Managers are responsible for managing all field personnel, which includes site assessors, solar crews and inspection techs. The ideal candidate is a confident leader, has deep knowledge of electrical codes with an emphasis on safety and OSHA regulations and possess excellent customer communication skills.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Work with building departments and city inspectors to gain familiarity with certain city requirements.
• Accurately report time sheets of reports on time.
• Train crew members on the proper methods of solar and electrical installations.
• Direct weekly safety meetings and set a good example for job site safety.
• Meet crews at job sites to maximize efficiency and instill good practices.
• Create learning experiences from mistakes to prevent them in the future.
• Change processes and be open minded to an evolving industry.
• Check quality of installed projects.
• Other duties and tasks as needed.
  What You Need:
  
  
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical codes and OSHA requirements.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in construction, preferably in the solar or roofing industry.
  • Valid drivers license and ability to obtain driver clearance at Semper required
  • Experience interacting with customers
  • Previous experience utilizing power and hand tools required
  • Previous experience with solar PV installation, roofing, or general construction is preferred
  • Previous experience with ground mounted systems is preferred
    Physical Requirements:
    
    
    • Able to sit for long periods of time
    • Able to stand for long periods of time
    • Comfortable with heights of at least 20 feet and walking on all roof types
    • Able to work in extreme temperatures including heat
    • Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
    • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs regularly
