Join us in shaping the future of IT in Puerto Rico and beyond.In This Role, You Will:As a Senior Network Engineer, you'll lead the planning, implementation, and optimization of secure and scalable communication networks that ensure operational continuity and efficiency.
  • Provide expert analysis and consultation on technical issues related to client environments.
  • Design, deploy, and manage secure, high-performance communication networks customized to business requirements.
  • Configure and maintain networking hardware, ensuring strong security protocols and optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and proactively resolve bottlenecks to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure seamless LAN and WAN connectivity through rigorous testing and configuration.
  • Monitor and evaluate network performance, recommending and implementing enhancements as needed.
  • Lead network upgrades, migrations, and maintenance initiatives with minimal disruption.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure network solutions are aligned with operational goals and compliance standards.
  • Conduct end-user training and contribute to organizational security awareness.What You'll Bring:Experience & Expertise:
    • 5-10 years of experience in network engineering or network administration.
    • Proven hands-on expertise with routers, switches, and firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
    • Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs).Technical Proficiency:
      • Skilled in network analysis and monitoring tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds.
      • Scripting and automation experience (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
      • Strong understanding of network security practices and cybersecurity principles.Leadership & Communication:
        • Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and time management skills.
        • Ability to lead initiatives independently and work collaboratively across departments.
        • Exceptional communication skills in both English and Spanish, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Education & Certifications:
          • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
