essential duties. POSITION SUMMARY The Ski Team FIS Alpine Manager
is responsible for the success of the FIS Alpine Racing segment of
the Team Palisades Tahoe. This list is designed to assist in
delimiting job duties, and is not exhaustive. Other duties may be
assigned or arise in the course of work. These duties are NOT
listed in order of priority. Applicants must be 18 years of age.
Salary The base salary range below represents the low and high end
of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s annualized salary range for
this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below
the range based on various factors including but not limited to
experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity
or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or
necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of
Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s total compensation package for
employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term
incentives and many region-specific benefits. Base salary range:

Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties
may be assigned: - Manage Full-Time U19 athletes and oversee FIS
U19 coaching staff. Coordinate, design and oversee all activities
involved in the training, travel, equipping, and competition of
team athletes. Travel with athletes to races on a regional,
national, and international level as appropriate. - Create written
team goals and facilitate individual goal setting for all team
members. Facilitate goal setting and performance assessments for
coaches. - Be fully aware of and support the mission, vision and
goals of all aspects of our program, Palisades Tahoe resort, and
Alterra. - Organize and publish appropriate training for entire
year, including competition season, prep period, on and off snow,
winter, spring, summer and fall. - Guide and promote athletic
participation in training plan; participate in planned training -
Foster an atmosphere of respect and courtesy between coaches,
parents, athletes, TPT and Alterra employees, and the public;
ensure that we maintain a strong emphasis on the customer service
aspect of our program. - Assist athletes in the program in
obtaining equipment in a timely fashion. Oversee the training of
athletes in equipment maintenance and facilitate the pursuit of
expert assistance with equipment tuning when appropriate. - Manage
the individual competition schedules of the athletes in a manner
that maximizes opportunities for advancement and in accordance with
TPT goals. Coordinate these schedules with input and consent from
parents, coaches, athletes and Athletic Director. - Manage team
staff. Communicate with appropriate staff regarding progress during
the season. Participate in planning meetings with Athletic
Director/U System Head Coach/Management and other team coaches. -
Maintaining communication with administrators, parents, and
students through meetings, reports, and other vehicles on a regular
basis - Modeling appropriate and ethical behavior consistent with
program values and code of conduct. - Work with Athletic
Director/Head Coach, Director of Teams to identify and recruit
athletes and coaches. - Participating in professional development
program and maintain outside certifications as necessary. -
Supporting the Conditioning Program, working with the Performance
Manager on programming, and overseeing sessions as necessary. -
Accountable for and adherence to financial goals including labor
expense/Time & Attendance, equipment & supplies, travel cost and
related athlete billing, etc. - Attending scheduled staff meetings.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS - Required- High School diploma; Higher
education preferred - Fluent in reading, writing and communicating
in English - Preferred - US Ski & Snowboard Alpine Level 300 or
equivalent - Preferred - PSIA Certification - Preferred -
International coaching experience - Required - Supervisory
experience (3 years preferred) - Required - Sufficient skills with
Microsoft Office, Video Analysis Software POSITION COMPETENCIES:

the ability to adjust focus. WORKING CONDITIONS Indoor/Outdoor:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will
frequently be exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee
may encounter extreme winter cold and blizzard conditions.
