Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A summer
opportunity is available for experienced Speech-Language
Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential services during the
Extended School Year (ESY) for K-12 students. These onsite
positions focus on delivering specialized speech and language
therapy across multiple school sites with varied schedules designed
to accommodate different age groups. This contract role offers the
chance to impact student progress in a structured educational
environment. Key Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid
Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required for
presentation. Hold CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
preferred; Candidate SLP-CFs encouraged to apply (SLPAs not
considered). Experience working with K-12 students in school
settings, including early childhood through secondary education.
Ability to manage diverse caseloads across elementary, secondary,
early childhood, and transition-age populations (18-22 years).
Commitment to work Monday through Thursday, with schedules ranging
from morning to early afternoon, depending on site. Location:
Wilmington, Delaware, serving multiple sites including PS DuPont
(Elementary & Secondary), Hanby (Elementary), SITE program (ages
18-22), and Early Childhood Education centers (Bush and Brumskill).
Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy
services aligned with student entitlements. Collaborate with
educators and families to support student communication goals
during the ESY program. Maintain accurate documentation and
participate in team meetings. Adhere to all state licensure and
criminal background clearance requirements (an $85 fee for
fingerprinting applies). Schedule: Start dates on June 22 or June
23, 2026. End date on August 7, 2026. Typical hours vary between
sites, generally from early morning until early afternoon. Four-day
workweek, Monday through Thursday, including a 30-minute paid
