The University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law ( UNH Law), a national leader in legal education with a commitment to inclusion, diversity, and quality engagement for all, seeks to hire a tenure-track, entry-level Assistant Professor of Law to begin August 2021. Successful candidates must have a background that demonstrates outstanding scholarly and teaching promise. They must also have significant interest in designing and teaching online courses. Further, successful candidates must have a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse communities. Essential Job Functions:
---Instructing law students on legal education.
---Designing and teaching both in-person and online courses, consistent with the law school's Hybrid JD program.
---Mentoring students on experiential and career opportunities in legal practice.
---Engaging in scholarly writing, including placements in distinguished law reviews and law journals, as consistent with a tenure-track appointment.
---Gaining recognition in the academy of legal education for being a leading commentator in subject areas.
---Serving on law school committees.
---Assisting in law school objectives, such as through recruitment of students and engagement with alumni.
---Contributing to the larger legal community through service.
---Working well with faculty, staff and students as well as community groups of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, sexual orientation, sexual identity, , disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
